Rock music by Until Further Notice(Sam Decker - vocals/guitar
Trent Davis - guitar/vocals
Bobby Mayne - bass
Marcus Taylor - drums) from Salt Lake City (United States) since January, 2004. Currently signed with none.
Until Further Notice came together in January of 2004. With an alternative rock style, their music can be compared to anything from slow and soft melodies to up-beat progressive renditions. Some of their major influences are Weezer, Muse, Foo Fighters, and Nirvana to name a few.
On more than one occasion UFN has played charity shows. These would include a "Sub-4-Santa" fund raiser for kids without Christmases and also a charity show for "The Odysee House", a drug rehabilitation center. Until Further Notice released their debut album in May of 2005 entitled "Forgotten Sounds." It was a young, naive start which helped inspire their future as a band. In April of 2007 they released their self-titled album. The new album has continued to receive attention from the local scene with radio play on X96, one of Utah's largest alternative radio stations.
Sam Decker (guitar/vocals) and Bobby Mayne (bass) started the band their senior year of high school. They were fast friends with a mutual dedication to the music. From then on the band underwent many line-up changes. In March of 2005 Bobby left the country for two years while Sam continued the band. It was while Bobby was absent that the recording of the self-titled album took place. Upon his return they attended college courses together where they were able to meet Marcus Taylor (drums).
