Do you have what it takes?

Article by

Do you want to win $25 000 for your performance? All aspiring musicians are invited to take part of Folgers Jingle Contest for the chance of winning $25 000. So, what do you need to do in order to participate?

  • If you haven't heard it and are totally unfamiliar with it, listen to "The Best Part of Wakin' Up is Folgers in Your Cup®" Jingle.
  • Now, learn it! Until you feel you are capable enough of creating your very own rendition of the Folgers Jingle, something that would silently shout out the everyone else - this is the best version of all!
  • Read the rules of the competition. And then start recording. The length needs to be anywhere between 60 and 90 seconds, it needs to include the complete melody as well as the lyrics from the jingle, the musical performance needs to be original and can be performed by up to six people.
  • Submit your original version of the jingle by March 6, 2013 at www.Folgers.com/Jingle.
  • Wait, because ten finalists will be featured on Folgers site for public voting from May 15th to June 19th.
  • Cross your fingers! If everything goes well, and you'll be chosen as the Grand Prize winner, you'll take home $25 000.
